Thank you to UCCA National, UCCA Illinois, and the UMANA Foundation who helped UMANA Illinois Chapter procure a state of the art defibrillator to help restore normal heart rate. The machine also records vital signs: temperature, blood pressure, oxygen concentration, EKG, and has pads to monitor effectiveness of CPR compressions. It can also be used as a simple AED for untrained users. This device will save many lives in the field.
