The 75th Anniversary of UMANA was held the weekend of April 25th and 26th, 2025 in New York City at the Ukrainian Institute of America. The event began with the XLVII Scientific Conference “Micro-Invaders: Problem Creators” which was well attended. Participants listened for hours to the up to date lectures and engaged in lively discussions.
. The evening began with cocktails and music by Fima Chupakhin’s jazz trio. The Gala Evening celebrated the history and service of UMANA over the last 75 years with the showing of a film and a presentation by long time Executive Director and Honorary member Dr. George Hrycelak. It continued with a beautiful dinner and friends new and old enjoying the evening and camaraderie.
