Through an initiative of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) 52 evacuation vehicles/ambulances were delivered to the front lines. The UMANA Foundation sponsored one of the ambulances. Foundation Board Paul Kulas and UMANA supporter Taras Jaworsky were one of the many drivers from Munich to Lviv . Soldiers and medics then drove the ambulances to the front lines.
The medic who traveled to Lviv is seen in Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region working on patients one week later. Thank you to all the volunteers from the US as well as Ukraine to bring this project to fruition.
