Since the war began, many orthopedic fixators were delivered to Ukraine. However wear and tear has
necessitated the purchase of new components to keep them functioning. Fixators promote healing and rapid
return to functional use of the injured limbs. Donations via Facebook and Instagram were facilitated by
the UMANA Foundation. This enabled the purchase of several components of the fixators to enable continued use.
Mr. Olga MAihutiak visited the Ivano Frankivsk hospital to see first hand the progress of the fixators in action.
