Members of the CNY Syracuse Chapter packed and sorted many boxes of medications and medical supplies. They have begun to ship medical supplies, vests and other equipment.
The chapter is collecting medications s and medical supplies from hospitals, clinics, ambulance/fire departments and churches. Monetary donations collected will partially go to transportation of donations. The Chapter will decide how to distribute the remaining monies. They will discuss what medications need to be purchased or provided for Ukraine and refugees.
The Chapter is are planning a benefit golf tournament and and hoping to arrange a benefit rock concert in Syracuse to raise additional funds for medical supplies.
The Chapter is speaking with Catholic Charities and Interfaith to discuss refugee accommodations/ medical needs of refugees.We have a Ukrainian lawyer here who specializes in immigration.
About 500 Vests made it to Ukraine via US military connections at Fort Drumm. They will provide more.
